Well, maybe someday I will get back to a regular blogging schedule. Other things just need to come before this blog. It is funny, though. This past weekend we had a mini family reunion down in Louisiana. When someone would tell a funny story or there was a "photographic moment" my uncle would say, "Hey, Vanessa, are you going to blog about this?" It was a great weekend, so I suppose I should work on a post about it. For now I will just share some little things I've been selling in my antique booth.
This is an old bed spring.
It is fun to look for old, rusty items that most people would consider trash and then search for a scripture to go along with each item. I use Bible Gateway to find my scriptures.
I realize this isn't a real exciting post, but it is all I have for you tonight. I need to get my Sweet Girl ready for bed, fold about four loads of laundry, make a grocery list and pull out the corresponding coupons, load the dishwasher...... The fun awaits!
{"But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal..." Matthew 6:20}

At least when we are old and rusty, we can still be useful! Love the post!
You know, I've thought about adding words or scriptures to items but never in the form of a tag. I think that is probably the best way, then they can leave it on or remove it if they want to use the item. These are really neat. My favorite is the scripture from Matthew. I think of that often as I dig through my junk.
Blessed Easter to you and family!
Always a joy to stop by your blog. I love your verses on junk! It's just like His stamp on US!
We may look like junk but as His children we've been cleaned up on the inside!!!
Hugs, Heidi
I love these Vanessa--I want to go dig through my rusty crusty stuff now!
I love your scripture tags! Lezlee
Wow! I love these! This is really, really cool! Great idea to combine the items with appropriate scriptures. Kelly
