She's With Me Video by Collin Raye - MySpace Video

Blogger isn't letting me upload photos this morning. We will see if I have better luck with a video.

When I first heard this song a few months ago I just sat and cried. If you have a child with special needs I think you will understand. Colin's granddaughter has many similarities to Rett Syndrome, but she is undiagnosed.

My Sweet Girl is home with the flu right now. She is doing better today. Right now she needs her mommy, though, so I will leave you with the video.

Well, that didn't work quite like I had hoped. Just click on the link above and it will take you to the video.

Wow,first let me wipe my tears.I do not have a special needs child of my own, but I work with special needs children at school. This song could be about any one of them and it makes me appreciate even more that I get to share just a small portion of their gifts.

You know Vanessa, I haven't listed to the radio for a few years now, so have no idea who the singer is. I quit listening for various reasons--one I didn't like to have contrived emotions sung in my head. BUT this was so real, so very heart felt, so TRUE. Thank you for sharing. I know this will stay with me for a very long time.

Oh my! That was so touching, and yes I sat here and cried. Just the sweetest song ever. IT comes from the heart, for sure.

Glad to find you, and your lovely blog. Can't wait to read more :) -Tammy

Vanessa, THANK YOU so much for sharing this with me. It has touched me deeply, and I've shared it with my husband and Chloe's grandparents today as well. We are all overwhelmed that a song could explain how we feel so perfectly. Thank you, thank you for sharing it. I'm glad you were able to find it as well. It is so perfect and profound.

I hope your sweetheart gets over the flu soon! Take care of you two!

Hugs and prayers....
