There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God
So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them?
We currently live in South Arkansas. Snow is rare here, but yesterday God sent us snow!
I actually heard on the radio this morning that there is snow on the ground in all 50 states right now. Isn't that amazing?!
Oh, how refreshing it was to hear the squeals of delight as the children played in the snow. School was closed today "due to inclement weather." We probably don't even have 2 inches. And, actually, most of it is melted already. It is a snow day, nevertheless!
I know that many of you are probably praying that God would make it quit snowing. You have had enough. But down here we are enjoying every bit of it. I am, anyway.
God's fingerprints are certainly evident in each tiny snowflake - intricate, unique, creative, beautiful!
Thank you, God, for this snow day!
Thank you, God, for this snow day!
Be sure to head over to The Rusted Chain to see other's interpretations of God's fingerprints.
{He spreads snow like a white fleece, he scatters frost like ashes, He broadcasts hail like birdseed - who can survive his winter? Then he gives the command and it all melts; he breathes on winter—suddenly it's spring! Psalm 147:16-17}

Brrrrrr...
I am glad I don't have snow here!
I am such a CA girl!!!
We are tickled that your dreams came true for your children this winter. Enjoy southern Arkansas!
wow, snow in 50 states, isn't that rare? I love snow. But then again, I do not have 6 feet like some people. Enjoy your snow~
Yes, it IS beautiful and yes, up here, I'm tired of it. I can believe though, that it was a real treat for you all.
We are having another weekend with yet more snow. Last weekend our power was out for awhile and a lot of snow means we can't get down our steep, bumpy driveway...all a real inconvenience but your photos help me to appreciate its beauty and fun.
I didn't know that about snow in all 50 states - that's very interesting! We're in Dallas and got a LOT of snow yesterday and I am loving it. :)
Beautiful post and pics. It's good to read a positive outlook on the snow. We're getting a bit overwhelmed with it, but it's still pretty to look at! -Tammy
I am in the River Valley in Arkansas and am absolutely loving all of the snow we have had this year and would love even more. Finally actually have winter. Love your pictures.
Wasn't the snow just divine!!!! I loved it! It's all gone now here in east Texas, but it was fun while it lasted. I think once a year is quite enough tho! I'd hate to live up north - I'll take the summer heat anyday!
That is so cool, Vanessa!
We had snow in Savannah, Ga. as well. It was wonderful, even thought it didn't last very long! It had not snowed here for about 14 years...so alot of children were able to experience it for the very first time!
Great photos. Thanks for following my blog Vanessa!
