My favorite part of decorating is watching the boys set out the nativities. They unwrap them and place each piece so carefully.
None of the nativities are expensive - just things we have collected over the years.
This one was added last year.
Isn't this one sweet?
This was my first one - after Christmas clearance from the grocery store.

A very simple wooden set.
This is a fun book of the Christmas story. A different piece of the story pops out each day. By Christmas day you have the whole Nativity set out. If you are interested, it can be purchased here.
In all the busyness of the season, don't forget about The Way In A Manger.

Thank YOU, Vanessa, for visiting my blog. Your nativity scenes are sweet, and I love the "Way in a Manger". That's new to me! I'll remember it. I have such great memories of the magic and holiness of Christmas when I was a child. It was an awe-inspiring time of year to me. I hope that we can instill that same feeling into the hearts of our kids so they can keep passing it down. Take care - Vickie
Vanessa, I love your sign! Believe it or not, I've never seen that before. I'm going to put that above my nativity!
I followed you from Sand Flat Farm. What a terrific name your blog has and I love the sign "The Way in a Manger."
