Flashlight Tag

What is this, you ask? This is a 7-year old's elaborate map for a game of flashlight tag. It is all very well thought-out. He's good. He beats his 10-year old brother and 12-year old friend. We have a lot of trees ("the forest") behind our house. I personally don't like to go back there - too many creepy-crawlies. My boys go out in the cold and pitch dark and play flashlight tag. They have a blast! Another one of those things that makes me sad about leaving this place. I have to say, though, that I am glad I was a mean mom last night and wouldn't let them go out. It was cold and damp and I just didn't want to deal with it. Later I smelled a skunk right out in the back yard. Oh, my! I can't even imagine what I would have done if the boys would have been out there!

I made this card earlier in the month for my BIL Jim. Sorry, BIL Dan. Your card wasn't quite as creative as this one. Isn't that old vehicle registration cool? It was tucked inside an old book that I had. I took the photo of the old truck that had been put out to pasture. The card says, "No matter your age...you'll always be a classic."

I guess it's time for me to get Sweet Girl's feeding pump ready for the night. Last night I checked on her an hour or so after I put her to bed. She had managed to get "unplugged" so the bed was getting fed instead of her tummy. What a mess! Never a dull moment around here!

Wow, I'm very impressed with the detail of your son's map! And what a fun game! That is, until Mr. Skunk shows up! Good thing they were inside for that round of the game! Cute card! Hope you're doing okay!!!
