Wednesday already?! The days go by and I never seem to get enough accomplished. Do you know what my problem is? I get distracted. I get distracted by beautiful things. Like daffodils blooming alongside the road.
So, I have to stop and pick some. And then find the perfect old jar (or vintage baby bottle) to put them in. Of course, I have to take a picture of them. In order to do that I need some "props." After searching through several old books for an image, poem, etc. I finally remembered my stash of sheet music. Sweet Daffodils, indeed!
Finally, I get things set up and start snapping pictures. It takes me awhile and I am never quite satisfied with results. Nevertheless, if I have taken all this time to pick the flowers, find the props, take the pictures.....I must blog about it!
So, here I am. Still in my distracted state. The house.....still in its very messy state. I really need to find a remedy for this problem. Any suggestions?

No suggestions from me...as you can see from my blog I did somewhat of the same thing yesterday except I didn't pick anything. I didn't think that the OBU maintenance dept would like that very much :)
As Scarlet Ohara would say, TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY.

These are GOOD distractions. I've been lamenting that I never take the time anymore to "putter" around the house. And I've been thinking a spring arrangement would be nice...we still have snowmen up, as we still have snow :).
No suggestions here but as soon as you get some please pass them on to me! It is though stopping to "smell the daffodils" so to speak. And isn't it sweet that you had the props?
Is it true that daffodils there grow wild and free in abundance like dandelions do here? That is something I'd love to see. It's hard to imagine. But in the summer our ditches are full of lilies in bloom and my friend from Oregon was amazed by that. It's good to stop and smell the roses so it must be equally as good to stop and marvel at the daffodils.
That is sooo sweet..YOU my dear take time to stop and smell the roses. cherry
I have no suggestions - just have to smile, knowing I'm not alone in my distractions!
